4lb Bee Packages are now available for pre-order. If you are a first or a second year beekeeper, please review this information.

These packages are sold in partnership with two reputable Georgia based apiaries: BeeCo Apiaries and Morgan Apiaries. We have thirty-five combined years of beekeeping experience and selling packages, queens, nucleus hives, and supplies. Both apiaries are certified by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

• Please note that full payment is required to reserve your package pre-order. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

• The packages will be available for pick up the week of March 9, 2025 at Morgan Apiaries in Sparta, GA. We will contact you closer to date with pick up instructions and details. This date is weather dependent. See below for address.

• This package of Italian bees is approximately 4 lbs. and comes in a cardboard box with a 2025 open mated queen in a separate queen cage.

• We strongly recommend you treat your 4 lb. package for Varroa immediately. Additional information on Varroa Management can be found here.

Important: All orders are for pick up only, no exceptions. If we are unable to fill your order, payment will be returned. The pick up location is: Morgan Apiaries, 196 W. J. Archer Rd., Sparta, Georgia 31087. We do not ship packages.

You or a designated receiver must pickup your bees. If you think you will have any scheduling conflicts the week of March 9th, use this time to find a friend of relative you trust to pick your bees up for you. For reference, we are centrally located and approximately 1 hour drive from Macon, Athens, and Augusta.
